Reserve your spot—you won’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind journey to Minnesota! Our group will experience the imaginative, larger-than-life creations of Danish artist Thomas Dambo, whose sustainable art installations have captured global attention.
Tucked throughout Detroit Lakes, five giant wooden trolls await discovery. Armed with our treasure map, we’ll set off on a playful adventure to find Alexa’s Elixir, Ronny Funny Face, Barefoot Frida, Jacob Everear, and Long Leif—each offering clues that lead us to the next, and perhaps even the elusive Golden Rabbit! Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos, exploration, and a bit of light hiking.
After our troll-hunting adventure, we’ll travel to Minneapolis for an overnight stay. There, we’ll visit the iconic Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and, time permitting, take in the beauty of Minnehaha Falls, a stunning 53-foot waterfall. You’ll have time to take in a show, visit a museum, or dine in your favorite restaurant!
This thoughtfully designed tour offers the perfect blend of learning, exploration, and relaxation. You’ll enjoy the region’s strong Scandinavian influence, time outdoors, and moments to unwind—whether that’s strolling the grounds or relaxing lakeside at our hotel, complete with a sandy beach. Did I mention an evening sunset dinner cruise?
Your experience includes four nights of hotel accommodations, comfortable motorcoach transportation, driver gratuity, daily breakfast, two lunches, two dinners, select attractions and experiences, and the care from your Hollitude representative. To ensure a relaxed pace, we’ll break up the journey with overnight stays in St. Cloud on the way out and Minneapolis on the return—so you can enjoy the ride as much as the destination.
