The John Michael Kohler Art Center has long been a destination for art enthusiasts. You don’t need to be an art enthusiast to enjoy though…even the bathrooms will have you mesmerized! After our visit inside, we’ll head out to view the magical sculptures by James A. Tellen, created from 1942 to his death in 1957. Over 30 historic, religious and mythic figures within the woods that surrounded his family’s summer cottage. These sculptures, both life-size and miniature characters, used the natural environment as a stage set. We then head to downtown Sheboygan for a quick talk & tasting at Victorian Chocolates, one of the best places for Victorian-era inspired, still made by hand, each piece meticulously preserving the timeless tradition of chocolate making…and the TASTE! After a delicious lunch, we’ll stop at a unique winery, The Blind Horse, for a tour and tasting before we head back on our comfy coach bus.
