I’m Holly Johnson, and I’m excited to share my story with you. I can’t wait to see you on one of our next group adventures!
I’ve been part of the University of Wisconsin System from 2008 to 2025. During that time, I worked primarily at UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha and UW-Milwaukee at Washington County. As the Director of Continuing Education & Professional Development, I had the privilege of engaging with the community to promote our campuses. With an amazing team, we provided a variety of programs, both for youth and adults—our oldest student was 101 years old, learning how to use her iPad!
My passion for educational travel blossomed in 2016 when I began leading tours. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to guide groups to incredible destinations both in the U.S. and internationally. Some of my favorite experiences include the Iditarod in Alaska, the International Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico, and various locations in Europe like Italy, Ireland, and Spain.
At Hollitude Holiday Travel, we don’t just visit places, we immerse ourselves in unique experiences. My focus is on group travel, but you don’t need to bring a group to join us! Whether you’re seeking the excitement of new destinations, the camaraderie of fellow travelers, or just prefer letting someone else handle the planning, I’m here to help every step of the way.
When both campuses where I worked closed, I saw a wonderful opportunity to continue serving my community by creating Hollitude Holiday Travel. My goal is to bring the joy of travel to everyone, with an emphasis on the mindset that comes with being on a holiday. After all, Hollitude is all about having the best attitude when you’re away from it all!
